Founded October, 1979 Shady Acres is a hidden gem in North Central Pasco County. We are nestled next to the Jumping Gully Preserve to the West and Lake Loyce to the South. When you turn off US41 to Winding Creek you are greeted with a community of 40 plus homes and lots. With a minimum lot size of 3 acres the community has a wide variety of homes. Sprawling ranch style homes, Key West style homes, 2 story homes, all showing pride of ownership. The community is comprised of retirees, working parents with children, single owners with or without children. And since lots are large, the domestic animal society here includes horses, cattle, goats, jennies, chickens, dogs and cats. Wildlife enjoys the community as much as the residents - deer, turkey, sand hill cranes, owls, hawks, kites, rabbits, even an occasional coyote are all found in the community.
